AFFECT

Despite difficulty understanding others, most autistic people are strongly empathetic. The ability to care without understanding exemplifies autistic people in a society that demands justification for human needs - and being understood is a barrier to being respected. Affect is an ongoing push for radical acceptance, spanning across media and methods to embody the diverse human need it caters to.
